What to do when that BBQ food is too spicy

It’s one of those things that sneaks up on a lot of people when it comes to BBQ food. And everyone has a different pain tolerance when it comes to this. We’re not talking about accidentally getting burned by the grill or biting into a hamburger that hasn’t cooled off entirely yet. We’re talking about spicy BBQ food. A lot of people love food with a kick, but when that food is a little too spicy, it can definitely be a little problematic. With that in mind, today we’re going to tell you just what you can do when that BBQ food is just a little too spicy. This way you don’t have to worry about attending that BBQ nearby

Have some milk

If you’re at BBQ near me and the main ingredient happens to be a little too spicy for your own good, the first and best thing that you can do is grab a cool glass of milk. Milk is one of the best ways to quell spice fast. It's even better than water in some respects. But of course, we know that not everyone likes milk and some people are even disgusted by it. So, that’s why our list continues. Keep reading if you’re at a BBQ in DFW and are looking to get rid of that spice.

Grab some water

Even if you’re at the best BBQ in DFW, that’s not going to stop you from running into some spicy food. But if you didn’t like our milk suggestion because you’re not a fan of the white stuff from the cows, then the next best thing that you can do is grab an ice-cold glass of water. Unfortunately for the milk haters out there, water simply won't be as good in quelling that spice on your tongue. But it’ll still help to an extent. So, don’t worry too much, take a deep breath and grab that water fast!

Don’t touch your eyes

In addition to knowing how to quell the spice when the time comes, it's important to also remember never ti touch your eyes after touching spicy food, especially when that spice comes in a sauce food. You can do some serious damage if you touch your eyes with that spice in hand, so be careful and make sure to take your spices seriously this season!
